At Vertue Dyeing, we have developed an innovative closed-loop polyester dyeing system that optimizes, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Unlike traditional dyeing methods, our process minimizes water and chemical waste while delivering the color performance that modern brands demand.
- Water Recycling - the water that is used for the dyeing process, including fabric washing before and after dye, is reused multiple times before it is treated and returned to the system.
- Dye and Chemistry Recycling - the residual dyes at the end of the dye process, and the dye assisting chemicals are recycled back into the system.
- Chemistry - Vertue uses simple, readily available chemistry that is nontoxic, biodegradable and cost effective.
- Dye Temperature - is reduced by around 10 - 15 degrees centigrade compared to conventional dyeing methods.
- Dye Cycle Time - is reduced by around a third compared to conventional dyeing methods.
- Heat Energy - The heat energy put into the system, is retained and reused multiple times, leading to low energy input.
- Machinery - Existing dyeing machine technology is used with some modifications to ensure scalability.
- By Products - Oils from the spinning and knitting processes are isolated from the system and collected as a revenue stream.
- Microplastics and Oligomers - are also removed from the system for safe disposal.
Why Our Process is Different
- Minimal Capital Investment – Designed to integrate with existing dyeing infrastructure with little modification.
- Proven & Scalable Technology – Uses familiar dyes and chemicals to ensure reliability and industry-wide adoption.
- Drastically Reduced Waste – Water, chemicals, and energy are recovered and reused, cutting operational costs.
- Enhanced Fabric Quality – Ensures deep, long-lasting colors with excellent wash and wear performance.
